Product Manager, Technical Service – Silicone Water Repellent

The Product Manager, Technical Service – Silicone Water Repellent will have the following responsibilities:

  • Bring company value proposition to customers; obtain market share by technical and product support
  • Conducting 5P’s strategies to grow the company
  • Provide technical and product support to clients; turn clients’ demand into product innovation and total solution. Conduct VOCs to obtain market insight/demands and future needs/trends
  • Attend trade shows and industrial summits and keep up with the latest technology and products to the company
  • Provide product training to the sales team and distribution partners
  • Work closely in technical and sales teams; maintain good working relationships with all team members
  • Report to technical and sales directors
  • 35-45% travel
  • Act as a liaison between the customer, sales/marketing and R&D

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or related field
  • At least 3+ years of experience in silicone and silane formulation, or background in construction / textile / coatings raw materials (CASE Markets)
  • Good verbal and writing skills
  • Strong research and analysis abilities (experience from concept to launch desired)
  • Creative and driven
  • Entrepreneurial
  • Customer technical support experience
