Our client is a global producer of specialty chemical products and a world leader in the production of polymers. They currently seek a Production Engineer for their manufacturing facility in Hattiesburg, MS.
As a Production Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Direct and coordinate activities over the entire production area
- Provide continuously improvements in quality, safety, productivity, and operations
- Ensure productivity goals are being achieved according to site expectations
- Implement and maintain a strong safety culture at the facility and adhere to PSM guidelines and regulations

Job Requirements
As a Production Engineer job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering - may consider Mechanical Engineer with twin screw extrusion experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Process/Production Engineer in a chemical, specialty chemical, or petrochemical facility
- Previous experience in a PSM regulated facility
- Strong record of process optimization and process improvements
