Production Lead
Nice size company looking for a leader for production! If you have experience working in a chemical manufacturing plant in production and have some leadership experience, this could be a great opportunity for you. Excellent benefits and overtime pay!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor equipment used for producing and packaging products
- Measure, weigh, mix, and process chemical ingredients following established procedures to create finished products
- Monitor batches for quality, including Critical Control Points and Control Points
- Run quality testing
- Record production and test data accurately and legibly
- Draw samples of products for quality tests
- Fill containers with chemical products for sale or internal use
- Clean equipment, utensils, and work areas according to company procedures
- Promptly report all, physical safety, and product quality issues
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Participate in cycle counts on a batch-by-batch basis
- Loading and unloading trucks per our shipping and receiving policy
- Building cleanliness inside and outside
- Knowledge of Outlook and e-mail correspondence
- Able to prepare orders for shipment and schedule trucks for pick-up
- General knowledge of computers

Job Requirements
Technical Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds repetitively
- Experience working in a warehouse
- Leadership experience
- Bilingual
- Must be able to stand, bend, and reach for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
- Must be able to wear the required Personal Protection Equipment for extended periods of time
- Must be able to safely and effectively operate production-related machinery including, but not limited to: forklifts, agitators, homogenizers, and drum tippers
- Must be able to perform visual and olfactory observations
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- Familiar with company concepts, practices and procedures
- Must be able to perform a variety of tasks utilizing individual initiative
- Must be able to work with peers and superiors in all departments and outside the company
- Follow company’s food safety, chemical safety, sexual harassment, discrimination, and general employee policies
