Our client is a leader in specialty chemical manufacturing. Their products are used in many different industries, including consumer goods, coatings, food additives, and others. They currently seek a Production Manager to oversee operations at their facility in Western Wisconsin.

As a Production Manager job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Oversee plant production department including equipment and personnel
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for all local, federal, and company requirements/standards
• Work cross-functionally with other departments for improvements, projects, and safety
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and process improvements
• Maintain and keep necessary documentation and SOP’s

As a Production Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Chemistry, or other relevant degree
• 3+ years of experience as a hands-on Production, Process, and/or Project Engineer in a chemical manufacturing facility
• Experience managing capital projects of at least $100,000
• Experience in PSM regulated facilities ideal
• Prior supervision experience is a plus
