Our client is a manufacturer of specialty industrial coatings used in a variety of industries. They currently seek a hands-on Production Manager to support one of their facilities roughly 50 miles from Springfield, MA.
As the Production Manager job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Identify areas of improvement and optimization and implement changes
- Ensure compliance with EHS regulatory
- Control budgets and development
- Ensure safety and quality throughout manufacturing processes
- Offer technical knowledge to contribute to production planning and goals
- Work cross-functionally with other departments for improvements in processes and production efficiencies
- Ensure productivity goals are met
Salary Range: $135,000/year to $150,000/year plus bonus

Job Requirements
As a Production Manger job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering or another engineering degree with chemical manufacturing experience
- 10+ years of experience in a hands-on engineering role out of chemical manufacturing
- Must have at least 5 year of previous supervisory experience
- Previous experience in a PSM-regulated facility
