Job Description

Our client is a global manufacturer of coatings used in many different industries. They are in search of a Project Engineer for their site in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago. The ideal candidate will be data driven and ready to work on internal improvements to this facility.

 

Project Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Food & Beverage/Plastics/Engineering/Chemicals/Pharmaceuticals/Project Management/Capital Projects

As a Project Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Scope, identify, and manage site capital projects from start to finish
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Identify improvement opportunities and make suggestions to ensure process improvements
  • Ensure all company and legal policies, guidelines, methodologies, etc are followed
  • Promote positive safety behaviors

Job Requirements

As a Project Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience out of chemicals (preferred), food, pharma, or plastics
  • Capital project management experience
  • Experience working in a PSM regulated facility
