Project Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Engineering/Manufacturing/Chemicals/Food

Our client is a manufacturer of chemistry-based products used in food, pharmaceuticals, and consumer products. They are expanding their production and looking for two Project Engineers to join their growing team. The ideal candidates are technically proficient, effective problem solvers, excellent communicators, and can manage multiple projects at differing stages at once. The ideal candidate will be eager to get their hands dirty working with manufacturing equipment and plant personnel at all levels.

As a Project Engineer, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and manage capital projects from conception to completion
• Work closely with other groups to ensure project completed on time and on budget
• Recommend and implement improvements for production process
• Create and execute design calculation and documents

As a Project Engineer, job requirements consist of:

• BS in Engineering; ChemE or ME
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing setting; chemicals or food preferred
• Experience managing small capital projects from conception to completion (minimum $50k)
• DCS/PLC experience is a plus
• Familiarity with continuous improvements/lean manufacturing/Six Sigma
• Must have comprehensive computer skills
