Job Description

Position: Purchasing Manager

Location: Near Fayetteville, AR

Work Schedule: On-site 5 days a week

Reporting Structure: Reports to Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead contract negotiations, notably with the Arkansas and Missouri railroads.
  • Assume responsibility for overseeing facility operations.
  • Engage in hands-on management activities.
  • Lead team of six direct reports.
  • This role primarily centers on ingredient procurement, with a significant focus on managing a substantial daily volume of flour.


Job Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Flour Purchasing Experience: Candidates must have prior experience in purchasing flour.
  • Dynamic Leadership: Seeking individuals who actively advocate for self-improvement.
  • AS/400 Proficiency: Highly preferred.
  • Experience Level: Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Educational Requirement: A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
