Job Description
Quality Technician (2nd Shift)
The responsibilities of the Quality Technician (2nd Shift) will include:
- Collect on-line data, conduct testing and keep all records as required to audit and insure product and packaging quality and consistency through application of the company products
- Adhere to personnel safety policies and procedures as well as promote personnel safety to peers
- Promote food safety and quality to peers
- Report food safety and quality issues to QA Supervisor, Production Supervisor, and/or QA Manager
- Adhere to all Food Safety and Quality policies and procedures
- Detail line inspection for adherence to allergen management program
- Audit production lines for compliance to packaging requirements
- Collect and test production samples for compliance to analytical, physical, and organolyptic specifications
- Audit metal detection and weight control equipment
- Record production finished goods and WIP data
- Recognize out of specification results and communicate to production in a timely manner
- Place non-conforming product on Hold and process paperwork
- Communicate with Plant Supervisors and leads regarding Quality issues

Job Requirements
Technical Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and fluency in English are required
- Vocational training in Quality Systems is preferred
- Work experience in Food Manufacturing or Quality Assurance is preferred
