R&D Chemist
Fun mid-sized company that works with a lot of different applications for industrial coatings looking for an experienced industrial formulation chemist!
Responsibilities:
- Develop new general industrial paint formulations
- Solve coating issues using knowledge in Polymers and Coatings
- Advise manufacturing in solving production issues
- Test and approve raw materials
- Add quality assurance steps in the production process to assure quality of product
- Solve problems

Job Requirements
Technical Qualifications:
- BS/MS/PhD in chemistry or related
- 20 years of industrial coating experience
- Experience performing analytical testing and quality testing
- Self-starter, well organized, attention to detail and motivated
- Ability to wear many hats
- Ability to work with suppliers, vendors, and support sales
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
