Job Description
Regional Sales Manager
The Sales Account Manager for the New York City, New Jersey and PA territories develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of company products and services.
Essential Functions:
- Pursue new business opportunities with new accounts conducting presentations, business review and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Make sales calls to current customers to promote new products, check inventories, conduct sales meetings and assist with problem resolutions
- Negotiate and manage customer pricing requests and contracts
- Attend all major industry trade shows and conventions

Job Requirements
Technical Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in sales or a related area – food / ingredient sales a huge plus
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Must be willing and able to travel at least 50% of the time – can also include weekends
