Safety Specialist/EHS/Health and Safety/Process Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Engineering/Chemical Manufacturing/Chemicals/RMP/Safety Manager/PSM/Inorganic Minerals/Mining/Environmental Engineering/Oil and Gas/Biology/Minerals/Powders/OHSA/Industrial Safety

As a Safety Specialist job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure the plant is compliant with all government and company safety and health regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Plan, direct, and oversee safety and health programs for an accident-free workplace
  • Create and provide safety training and initiatives
  • Manage accident/incident investigations and provide corrective measures

Job Requirements

As a Safety Specialist job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Bachelors Degree 
  • 3+ years of industrial safety experience in a manufacturing facility 
  • Previous experience and knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards
