 Responsibilities include the following areas:

  • Provide accurate and timely data that can be used to achieve the goals of the company.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry preparation and analytical review.
  • Cash management reporting.
  • Maintain fixed asset accounting and reporting
  • Supervise and review the accounts payable process.
  • Payroll review and management of wage garnishments.
  • Preparation of various Sales and Use tax returns.
  • Assist in revenue and cost analysis for monthly and yearly accounting and reporting functions.
  • Various special projects as needed by the Controller and Corporate Officers.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or finance, CPA certification is desirable
  • Minimum of five years of corporate accounting experience in maintaining the general ledger and related financial reports on a timely basis.  
  • Proficient in accounting software, MS Office, advanced Excel skills
  • Previous experience with Sage Intacct (or other large ERP Systems) experience is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
