We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing industrial manufacturing organization recognized for operational excellence, innovation, and a strong employee-focused culture. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic accounting team supporting a large-scale manufacturing operation while contributing to ongoing process improvements and system implementations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong general accounting experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation reporting and account reconciliations
• Prepare and record routine and non-routine journal entries with supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end close activities, including inventory valuation and analytical review procedures
• Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions
• Participate in periodic physical inventory audits
• Support accounts payable processes by reviewing purchase orders and supplier invoices for proper documentation
• Cross-train and assist in additional accounting functions as needed
• Support ERP implementation initiatives and process improvement projects
• Assist with special projects and other accounting-related responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing and/or public accounting environments
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting processes
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
