1. Assists with the collection of data for the strategic planning process and evaluation of business alternatives to develop quantitative and qualitative evaluations having potential to alter the strategic position of the Company.
2. Helps to evaluate capital expenditures for improving the position of the Company’s existing assets; and with evaluation of production initiatives which could significantly or permanently alter the Company’s operations.
3. Works with various operating and staff groups to assist in formulating or developing parameters of an alternative; helps perform comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis of an alternative and assists in development of recommendations for appropriate course(s) of action.
4. May participate in presentation of findings and recommendations to management and assist with drafting formal reports for review/approval by Board of Directors.
Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts. Identifies and brings to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies.
3-5 years of experience
At minimum, 2 busy seasons in public accounting as an auditor with manufacturing experience
CPA preferred, not required
