Senior Lab Chemist
Under the direction of the Lab Manager, you will lead research projects and focus on finished foods and ingredients. You will support your team with methodologies to collaborate with cross-functional groups.
Responsibilities:
- Lead research on foods, flavors, ingredients, shelf life, and quality laboratory projects.
- Manage the lab including instruments, calibration and having an organized workspace.
- Train team members on instrumentation operation.
- Participate in evaluations and collaborate with the sensory team on risk analysis.
- Maintain detailed record documentation.

Salary
$80,000 - $85,000

Job Requirements
Education & Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field, master’s preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years in similar role
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving in collaborative environments.
