Job Description

Our client is a global chemical manufacturer of products used in multiple different industries. They are in search of a Senior Project Engineer to be responsible for executing multiple capital projects with varying levels of complexity at their facility near Wheeling, WV. Projects will range from $50K - $10MM. This engineer will have a lot of cooperation and team work and will be very involved with a variety of people throughout the organization.

As a Senior Project Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage multiple capital projects at once from conception through implementation
  • Work with other departments to identify and execute improvement projects
  • Adhere to safety policies and standards locally, federally, and company wide
  • Prepare and manage all relevant project documentation, estimates, services, suppliers, schedules, etc.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and under budget

Salary Range: $140,000/year - $150,000/year

Job Requirements

As a Senior Project Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in chemical or petrochemical environment
  • Previous experience managing projects from conception to implementation
  • Experience in a PSM regulated facility is ideal
  • Any Six Sigma experience is a plus
