Senior Human Resource Generalist

Duties

• Work closely with operations and all other areas within the organization to ensure the appropriate staffing levels
• Administration and interpretation of policies and procedures to ensure all is handled consistently and in a timely manner
• Build and maintain favorable relationships with management and employees – you need to like people!
• Manage, report, and monitor statistics with regards to attendance, safety, turnover, and resource headcount as well as implement corrective actions where indicators fall short of desired goals
• Must accurately diagnose organization issues, develop solutions, and implement action plans
• Must ensure activities follow all state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA)
• Lead and coach leadership in performance management and developing effective pipeline and succession plans
• Understand the business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective
• Develop and execute team strategies to improve organizational health and culture

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; HR certification highly desired
• 5 + years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist 
• Strong interpersonal skills and can work across all levels of our organization to resolve employee issues with compassion and confidentiality – someone who puts the Human in Human Resources
