Join Our Client's Team as a Senior Buyer!
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role overseeing procurement activities and collaboration efforts? Our client is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage designated categories for their manufacturing facilities in Chicago. As a valued team member, you will work closely with various departments, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure the smooth flow of raw materials crucial for production.
In this exciting position, you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, conduct supplier negotiations, and uphold contract compliance. Your responsibilities will also include managing inventory, financial metrics, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships to support growth initiatives and contribute to organizational success.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Competitive annual salary in the range of $75,000 - $95,000
- Benefits: Comprehensive insurance coverage, Paid Time Off (PTO), and a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
Job Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in Procurement and Category Management, particularly in the food and beverage industry
- Minimum of 4 years of procurement experience
- Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills are essential
- Preferred certifications in APICS and CPM
