Job Description

I am a recruiter specializing in Supply Chain Management and I am working with a chemical manufacturing company recruiting for a Sr. Procurement Specialist. This position is located near Mechanicsville, Virginia and will be in office five days a week. Below is an overview:

Sr. Procurement Specialist – Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this position will be responsible for managing up to $75M global spend of raw materials.

  • Procure wide range of chemicals/raw materials
  • Develop/improve procurement process
  • Drive Total Cost of Ownership
  • Source new vendors and maintain relationships

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 5-7 years of procurement experience
  • Chemical sourcing background a plus
  • Analytical mindset
