Sr. QA Technologist

The main responsibilities of the Sr. QA Technologist will include:

  • Conduct Research and Development of new products within time, cost and processing requirements
  • Support quality systems
  • Lead QA junior technologists
  • Maintains accurate quality documentation and records keeping
  • Allergen coordinator
  • Ensure equipment is kept up to rigorous quality standards
  • Inspect, analyze and test equipment and product samples for quality assurance
  • Be a quality liaison between R&D and plant for all quality needs for the facility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry preferred
  • 2-5 years’ experience in quality production or quality technician work desirable
  • Experience in food safety systems, GMP’s, sanitation, SOP’s, and Allergen control
  • Machinery processing equipment is preferred, and quality mechanisms and systems required for quality metrics to ensure auditing plant compliance
  • Knowledge of US food standards and regulations helpful
  • Looking for next quality professional to step in and take ownership with the required quality tasks to eventually move into a management role
  • Your communication to stakeholders, fellow employees, and upper management should be clear, well-spoken and represent your position and team with pride
  • You are someone that likes to trouble-shoot and dive into concerns and fix accordingly. You aspire to move internally into a more senior role and look forward to developing your skillset under a tenured team
