Reports to Global Supply Chain Lead
My client, a global specialty chemical company is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in their NC facility. This position will lead and manage the Supply Chain team which will include logistics, warehouse, procurement, planning, scheduling, customer services and quality.
- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including logistics, warehousing, procurement, planning, vendor scheduling, customer service, and quality
- Manage and develop a cross-functional team, fostering engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Partner with global operations, local leadership, sales, and customers to ensure strong communication and service levels
- Optimize inventory, processes, and KPIs using SAP, Excel, and Power BI to drive visibility and efficiency
- Oversee and continuously evaluate 3PL performance and vendor scheduling effectiveness
- Act as escalation point for customer and quality issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Build strong customer relationships to support trust, loyalty, and overall customer experience
Requirements:
- 10 + years of experience in a Supply Chain Management
- Current SAP experience
- Proven Leadership skills
