Tax Accountant
Job Description
Responsibilities:
As a Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting tax, treasury, and benefit reporting and administration. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Tax Compliance and Planning:
Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll taxes.
Oversee Sales & Use and Excise taxes.
Handle Property Tax matters.
Contribute to Income tax compliance and planning activities.
Collaboration and Analysis:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for comprehensive tax analysis and reporting.
Accounting Support:
Assist in accounting activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Benefit Reporting and Administration:
Manage and oversee benefit reporting and administration processes.
Handle the 401(K)-plan administration.
Oversee Health & Welfare benefit administration.

Job Requirements
Experience in Accounting:
Proven experience in accounting, showcasing a solid understanding of financial principles and practices.
Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in financial reporting.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook to efficiently manage and analyze financial data.
Knowledge and Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience
Associate’s degree in accounting with work experience acceptable
Bachelor’s degree preferred
