Job Description
My client, a local CPA firm with multiple offices in Southeastern Michigan, is seeking a Tax Senior with a strong generalist tax background. Experience can include corporate, partnership, and/or individual tax. Position also includes general accounting work and the potential for exposure to audit projects as needed. They offer a hybrid work environment with the possibility of remote work as well.

Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
- CPA certification required or actively working towards completion.
- 3 - 6 years of experience in public accounting and/or industry.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience leading and reviewing the work of others.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of:
- Assurance applications (CCH ProSystem fx Engagement, CS Professional Suite, Checkpoint).
- Accounting software applications (Quickbooks).
- Tax research database and planning tools (CCH, Checkpoint, BNA or comparable).
- Tax compliance software (Axcess Tax or comparable).
- Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat.
