Tax Senior
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior/Supervisor to join a growing public accounting practice. This position is ideal for a technically strong and client-focused tax professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is capable of managing multiple engagements while providing exceptional client service.
The Tax Senior/Supervisor will be responsible for the preparation and review of individual, fiduciary, partnership, and corporate tax returns, as well as assisting clients with tax planning, compliance, and advisory matters. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and internal team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex individual, fiduciary, partnership, and corporate tax returns
- Research and interpret tax laws, regulations, and IRS guidance
- Identify client issues, opportunities, and planning strategies while providing practical recommendations
- Manage multiple client engagements and ensure projects are completed accurately and within budget
- Assist with tax planning and business succession engagements
- Communicate directly with business and individual clients regarding tax matters
- Support firm leadership with administrative and operational initiatives as needed

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license required
- Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience preparing individual and business tax returns
- Minimum of 2 years of experience reviewing tax returns
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience with tax and accounting software, including CCH Axcess/ProSystem FX products, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office preferred
