Job Description
Technician – Local Only
Small privately owned company looking for a technician to join their growing company. If you are local to the area and have some experience in manufacturing setting with color testing, this could be a great fit for you!
Duties:
- Produce, inspect, Pack & Label, according to Batch Tickets
- Includes batching and processing of raw materials into finished goods
- Follow clearly prescribed routine procedures and established methods for production of various coatings and adhesives
- Move materials as necessary in the performance of job
- Determine color adjustments and coordinate with QC use of color spectrometer
- Perform various other QC tests on finished goods for approval to finish batch work
- Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to supervisor
- Report raw material discrepancies to applicable staff
- Ensure work area and equipment is maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
- Conduct preventive maintenance duties on equipment as directed
- Follow prescribed safety rules, regulations and company policies regarding PPE
- Follow General Safety and Housekeeping Procedures
- Contributes to a culture of safety, following protocols throughout the organization, and other internal policy / procedures
- Maintain working knowledge of company’s ISO 9001 policies and procedures
- Employer retains the right to change or assigned other duties to this position

Job Requirements
Technical Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Entry level candidates are given consideration but some form of manufacturing experience is preferred
- Basic math skills competence
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects 10-60 lbs.
- Ability to use drum carts, dolleys, pallet jacks, etc.
