Our client company is global leader within the chemicals and performance materials industries. They have more than twenty manufacturing plants within the continental United States and are currently seeking a Unit Manager to be based at a manufacturing plant in the Baton Rouge area. This person will be responsible for the scheduling and overall performance of their manufacturing unit. It is a growth position that will lead to larger opportunities within manufacturing and operations management.

Salary Range: $110,000/year - $130,000/year

Job Requirements

This position requires a degree in Chemical Engineering. It also requires a minimum of three years of post-graduate experience in a chemical manufacturing plant including at least one year of direct supervision of operators. Knowledge of OSHA PSM guidelines is also required.
