Our client is a manufacturer of additives used to improve existing applications. They are still early in their existence but growing rapidly. They are in search of a VP of Operations for their expanding facility in the greater LA area. This position has potential to grow into the CEO/COO in the future.

As the VP of Operations responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage and optimize operations including end-to-end supply chain
• Assist in the development of company strategies
• Ensure operations and manufacturing goals are met
• Standardize and continuously improve manufacturing processes and methods
• Create policies, procedures, programs and principles

Salary Range: $150,000/year - $180,000/year

As the VP of Operations job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or other relevant science degree
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing – previous start up experience is a plus
• Must have manufacturing leadership/supervision experience
• Previous experience in the advanced materials sector
