            <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>THE CLIENT</strong></p>  <p>Chemical company with a proprietary &ldquo;Green&rdquo; technology used to convert waste into high-quality certified materials to replace fossil-based sources.</p>  <p><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p>  <p>The Project Engineering Manager is responsible for all engineering and technical matters on large capital projects from $30-100MM. Will provide leadership, technical assurance, and integration across all engineering disciplines, EPC contractors, licensors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.</p>  <p>&nbsp;</p>  <p><strong>Engineering Leadership & Technical Authority</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>Responsible for all project engineering and technical matters from front end development through construction, commissioning, startup, and handover to operations.</li>  <li>Provide technical leadership and assurance across all disciplines, including: Process Engineering, Mechanical (static & rotating), Piping & Layout, Electrical, Instrumentation & Process Control, Utilities, and Infrastructure</li>  <li>Oversee EPC contractors, licensors, and vendors while maintaining strong working relationships.</li>  </ul>  <p><strong>Systems, Processes & Standards</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>Define, implement, and govern project specific engineering execution plans, processes, and procedures.</li>  <li>Develop and continuously improve corporate project engineering standards, workflows, tools, and best practices to be used across multiple projects.</li>  <li>Establish and align engineering standards with:</li>  </ul>  <p><strong>Design Assurance & Process Safety</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>Ensure engineering design quality, safety, and compliance across all project phases.</li>  <li>Lead and ensure closure of all design assurance activities, including: HAZID / HAZOP, LOPA, Safety Reviews, Management of Change (MOC)</li>  <li>Ensure all process safety risks are identified, assessed, escalated, and mitigated appropriately.</li>  </ul>  <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Integration & Execution</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>Coordinate engineering activities to meet project schedule, cost, and constructability objectives.</li>  <li>Interface closely with: Procurement & Strategic Sourcing, Construction, Commissioning & Startup, Operations & Maintenance</li>  <li>Ensure engineering deliverables are construction ready and execution focused, not just &ldquo;technically complete.&rdquo;</li>  </ul>  <p>&nbsp;<strong>Leadership & Influence</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>Lead a multi disciplinary, multi location, engineering team.</li>  <li>Influence/align internal stakeholders (operations, construction, procurement) and external partners (EPCs, licensing clints, vendors).</li>  <li>Communicate clearly with project and executive leadership, escalating risks early and transparently.</li>  </ul>  <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Requirements</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>B.S., Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline required).</li>  <li>Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.</li>  <li>10+ years of experience delivering major capital projects, preferably in chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, or complex process industries.</li>  <li>Proven experience as a Project Engineering Manager or Lead Technical Integrator on large EPC executed projects.</li>  <li>Direct experience across front end development, FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover to operations.</li>  <li>Demonstrated success managing EPC contractors, vendor and packaged equipment scopes.</li>  <li>Strong knowledge of process safety management and risk based design.</li>  <li>Ability to make sound technical judgments and influence decisions under uncertainty.</li>  <li>Demonstrated ability to build systems and processes that others can follow and replicate.</li>  <li>Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.</li>  </ul>  <p>&nbsp;</p>  <p>&nbsp;</p>  <p>#LI-BK1</p>]]></description>

This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and team leadership, acting as the crucial link between the plant floor, upper management, and all other functional groups.&nbsp;</p>  <p>&nbsp;</p>  <p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p>  <ul>  <li>Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to meet or exceed customer expectations and production goals.</li>  <li>Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols and ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).</li>  <li>Establish and maintain quality control standards, ensuring all products meet required specifications and driving continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) to enhance product quality and reduce waste.</li>  <li>Develop, coordinate manufacturing schedules, optimize workflow, and allocate resources (personnel, equipment, raw materials) effectively to achieve production targets and on-time shipping.</li>  <li>Prepare and manage operational and capital budgets, analyze costs, and implement cost-reduction measures to ensure financial objectives are met.</li>  <li>Recruit, hire, train, and manage plant personnel, including supervisors and production workers. This involves motivating the team, resolving conflicts, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.</li>  <li>Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment and the facility to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.</li>  <li>Collect and analyze production data and performance metrics (Key Performance Indicators) to identify areas for improvement and report progress to the organization.</li>  </ul>  <p>&nbsp;</p>  <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>B.S. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree required.
