            <description><![CDATA[<p><strong><u>EHS Manager</u></strong></p>  <p>Our well-established client is looking for an EHS Manager at their manufacturing facility.&nbsp; This leadership role will collaborate with all levels of the facility to drive EHS excellence.&nbsp; The ideal candidate would have 5 plus years of experience in chemicals, plastics or heavy industrial along with PSM experience in a manufacturing setting.&nbsp; The role will manage all health and safety programs with oversight of environmental compliance.&nbsp; This is a boots on the ground role for a passionate EHS professional who thrives working across all levels of the organization.</p>  <p><strong>What Youâll Do</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>Support the implementation of SHE and management systems to ensure environmental regulatory compliance and SHE programs at facility. Duties will encompass a variety of SHE areas.</li>  <li>Manage compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Performs SHE inspections as required.</li>  <li>Determine priorities for safety and health investigations in their diverse work areas and make assignments accordingly.</li>  <li>Determine sampling priorities for the institution and request the necessary budget resource to accomplish goals.</li>  <li>Develop and recommend appropriate engineering or work process modifications to prevent worker illness or injury. Provide follow-up assessment of recommendations.</li>  <li>Administrate Employee Health Safety Environmental management practices under the OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14000 Standards. Administers dispensary services.</li>  <li>Develop reports and recommendations independently.</li>  <li>Assist other employees in developing reports and recommendations.</li>  <li>Participate in interdisciplinary team to discuss multidisciplinary approaches to resolving safety & health issues.</li>  <li>Make recommendations with respect to equipment purchase, engineering control, workspace planning and work process planning.</li>  <li>Communicates with regulatory authorities, as required.</li>  <li>Determine training needs and independently develop new programs as necessary.</li>  <li>Oversee training development and delivery.
