Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Audit Senior to join our public accounting team. The Audit Senior will be responsible for leading audit engagements, supervising staff, and providing exceptional client service to privately held and publicly traded companies across various industries. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, public accounting experience, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute audit, review, and compilation engagements for clients in various industries.
• Plan audit engagements, assess risk, and develop audit strategies and procedures.
• Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff and interns.
• Review staff workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and applicable reporting standards.
• Identify accounting, auditing, and internal control issues and provide recommendations to clients.
• Communicate engagement status, findings, and recommendations to managers and partners.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide proactive client service.
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and engagement management to ensure deadlines are met.
• Stay current on accounting and auditing standards and industry developments.

The Senior Auditor will be responsible for managing audit engagements from planning through completion while working closely with firm leadership and client teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical audit skills, attention to detail, and the ability to mentor junior staff while maintaining exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead assigned audit engagements from planning through finalization under the direction of firm leadership
• Identify audit issues, assess risks, and recommend practical solutions
• Develop and execute audit procedures tailored to engagement risks and objectives
• Obtain, analyze, and document audit evidence to support findings and conclusions
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members
• Ensure compliance with applicable professional and auditing standards
• Communicate effectively with engagement teams and clients to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality service
• Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as needed

• Conduct assigned audit engagements successfully under Audit Management direction.
• Identify and communicate audit issues, providing recommended, risk-relevant solutions.
• Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and reviewing deliverables.
• Ensure audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of processes, risks, and circumstances.
• Develop appropriate audit testing procedures aligned with risks and objectives.
• Obtain, review, and document audit evidence to support findings and conclusions.
• Ensure adherence to applicable professional standards at all times.
• Clearly and concisely communicate assigned tasks to engagement teams for high-quality results.
• Collaborate effectively with clients to minimize disruptions while gathering necessary information.
• Perform other duties as assigned, always demonstrating dedication to superior client service.

The Capital Project Cost Estimator will:

• Apply relevant industry standard practices to all stages of the project estimates, including AACE 97R-18
• Manage transitions from Class 5 estimates through to Class 1 estimates
• Work with Supply Chain to ensure there are no gaps in materials or labor
• Ensure all safety precautions are implemented through every phase of the projects
• Apply LOPA, LPP, and HAZOP standards to project requirements
• Secure bids from outside vendors, and effectively create a vendor database
• Utilize Risk Graph methods
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage capital projects as necessary

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 + 15% bonus

Job Title: Cost Accountant (Manufacturing / Chemical Industry)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or chemical manufacturing environments. This role is responsible for analyzing production costs, maintaining cost accounting systems, and supporting financial planning and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with inventory, standard costing, and variance analysis in a production setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead
• Perform cost variance analysis (material, labor, overhead) and provide actionable insights
• Monitor inventory transactions, including raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods
• Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate bill of materials (BOM) and routing data
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare cost reports, margin analysis, and profitability assessments
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Support audits by providing cost-related documentation and analysis
